Large shelled prawns served on crisp mixed salad with our own marie-rose sauce and garnished with a king prawn.


 
Cornish Smoked Duck
Slices of locally smoked duck breast.
Served warm, with a freshly made
salad and Hoi-Sin
and sesameseed dressing.

 
Scallops
Fresh Looe scallops pan fried with garlic butter and parsley.
Served with salad leaves & wedges of lemon.

 


Fresh Fowey Mussels
Cooked with white wine, shallots, mushrooms & garlic.
Finished with cream & parsley.




Fresh Local Crab
Delicious white crab meat, served with mixed salad leaves, lightly dressed with our own citrus vinaigrette.

 


Mawgans Salad
Mixed salad leaves, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, peppers, celery ,olives
& a Cornish cheese with a choice of dressing.

A selection of fresh fish and shellfish is always available,

Brill, Turbot, Lobster, Scallops and Mussels

  Fillet Steak
An 8oz cut of matured West Country prime beef, cooked to your liking & served with roasted vine tomatoes & a mushroom stuffed with Cornish blue & breadcrumbs.


 
Chicken Supreme
Locally sourced free range breast of chicken marinated & roasted with coriander, chilli, lime & ginger.

 

 

 
St Mawgan's Pork
Medallions of pork fillet, pan fried in butter, finished with sage, Cornish cider, cream & caramelised apple.

 


Cornish Lamb
A trio of boneless, locally reared loin lamb steaks, served with a rich red wine, rosemary & redurrant sauce.

 
 


Scallops
Fresh Looe scallops, pan fried with garlic butter & parsley, or alternatively, flamed in brandy with a cream & white wine sauce.


 

Seafood Salad
Fresh crab, smoked salmon, king prawns, peppered mackerel,
Smoked trout & local mussels with a large freshly prepared salad.

 
Vegetable Balti
A selection of vegetables in a spicy curry sauce, finished with fresh cream & corriander. Served with basmati rice & mango chutney.

 
 


Vegetable Tagliatelle

Fresh tagliatelle with a roasted vegetable & tomato sauce, topped with melted Cornish blue cheese.

 
 
 
All our fish and shellfish are purchased from the local quay.
Looe fish is reputedly the freshest in the country as it is
landed from day boats.

We are happy to cater for Vegetarians & Special dietary requirements
by prior arrangement.
