MAWGAN'S OF LOOE
Where old friends meet and new friends are made
Licensed restaurant with rooms

A warm welcome awaits you in Looe. Nestled at the confluence of the East and West Looe Rivers, the ancient towns of East & West Looe are joined together by the seven arch stone bridge and can be said to be the most versatile holiday destination in the South West.

For walkers serious or casual, the Cornish coastal path is on our doorstep with magnificent walks and views along the coast, where you hear nothing but the waves breaking on the shore and the haunting cry of the gulls, For beach lovers we have the choice of both sand and rock pools, and the safest waters to bathe in.
Fishermen can enjoy coast or deep sea fishing and coarse fishing is also available within a few miles of Looe.

Looe is also the H.Q. of the British Shark Angling Club and various charter boats are available as are sailing charters on rigged Cornish Luggers.

A horticulturist's paradise with Eden just up the road and other gardens such as Heligan, Lanhydrock, Mount Edgcumbe and Cothele within very easy reach and if your fed up with driving you can jump on a train or bus, let somebody else do the navigating and just sit back and relax.
Mawgan's is situated almost on the beach front in the heart of the old town, occupying a Victorian style building where the ground floor houses our restaurant, where one immediately feels the warm hospitality on which we have built our reputation.

On the first floor we find two double en-suite Bed & Breakfast rooms and our own apartment is on the floor above so that there is always someone to attend to your needs.

A non-smoking, no pets policy is applied and children over 15 are welcome in the restaurant as adults in the evening.
